Role Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island seeks a skilled SOC Operator to join the Security team at its new integrated resort in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, opening in 2027.
Company Overview
Wynn Al Marjan Island will be the first integrated resort in the UAE, located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will feature 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, a beach club, multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.
Role Purpose
Monitor integrated security systems and resort facilities continuously, respond to incidents and alarms promptly, coordinate operational resources, and act as the central communication point during security events, emergencies, and business disruptions.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Surveillance
- Monitor CCTV systems, video analytics, access control systems, alarm systems, communication platforms, and other integrated security technologies continuously.
- Proactively monitor resort facilities, gaming support areas, back-of-house operations, employee accommodation, transportation hubs, and logistics facilities for suspicious, unusual, or prohibited activity.
Incident Response & Escalation
- Respond promptly to security alarms, alerts, and incidents in accordance with established SOC procedures and escalation protocols.
- Initiate emergency protocols such as evacuation or lockdown during critical incidents.
Coordination & Dispatch
- Coordinate and dispatch Security Officers, Emergency Response Teams, Engineering, Facilities, Medical Services, and other operational resources as required.
Communication & Documentation
- Act as the central communication point during incidents, emergencies, and business disruptions.
- Document all incidents, alerts, and operational activities accurately in SOC logs and reporting tools.
- Greet guests and staff with the highest level of professionalism, respect, and positive energy.
Information Security
- Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive security information.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification in security systems or SOC operations.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in SOC or Security control room operations.
- Preferred: Minimum 1 year's experience in site security operations at a luxury hotel.
- Preferred: Bi-lingual (English and Arabic).
Skills & Competencies
- Good written and verbal language skills in English.
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies and challenging situations.
- Knowledge of security policy and procedures.
- Familiarity with emergency protocols and coordination with external agencies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and positive energy.
