Role Overview

Sheetfed Printer at Al Ghurair.

Role Purpose

Operate sheetfed printing equipment to deliver consistent, high-quality prints throughout production runs while maintaining equipment in peak working condition and adhering to all maintenance and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Print Quality & Consistency

• Monitor ink density, registration, and paper feed accuracy across the entire batch.
• Adjust machine settings proactively to prevent color shifts, misalignment, or print defects.
• Ensure uniformity from first sheet to last.

Ink and Fluid Management

• Maintain optimal ink-water balance throughout the print run to prevent issues like scumming, toning, or emulsification.
• Fine-tune dampening systems and ink flow to ensure sharp, clean prints with consistent color fidelity.

Maintenance & Equipment Care

• Carry out periodic maintenance tasks including roller cleaning, blanket replacement, lubrication, and inspection of mechanical components.
• Document all maintenance activities and escalate any abnormalities to the technical team.
• Perform scheduled maintenance as per guidelines.
