Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is a glamorous beachfront property offering residential comfort in expansive apartments and residences, each with a full kitchen and breathtaking views of the city or sea. The resort features seven restaurants and bars, Loulou Spa, beach and pool facilities, and sets the new standard for luxury beachfront living in Doha.
Role Purpose
The Server provides exceptional quality and service to in-room dining guests by delivering expertly served beverages and dining experiences, anticipating guest needs, and creating memorable moments through menu expertise and attentive, professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellence in quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
- Greet guests by name and describe selected menu items using interesting and vivid descriptions of each item, including origin, taste, and preparation methods.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
- Respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Dining Operations
- Assist in clearing and resetting tables according to service standards.
- Communicate options for removal of trays and dishware.
- Respond to requests for tray removal according to established time standards.
- Properly and accurately close guest checks, securing room number and signature.
- Properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
Station Setup and Maintenance
- Breakdown, clean and set up room service tables.
- Maintain condiment set-ups, flatware, and dishware.
- Organize and maintain room service side stations.
Qualifications & Experience
- One to two years of experience in a related field.
- Background in luxury resort and hotel environments considered an asset.
- Excellent command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- High level of understanding and knowledge of food and wine.
- Service passion for luxury hospitality.
- Eye for detail.
- Outgoing personality and can-do approach to assigned tasks.
