Role Purpose
To lead and deliver transport planning, mobility strategy, and advisory projects from inception through completion. The role involves managing multidisciplinary teams, overseeing transport modelling and analysis, and providing strategic insights and technical expertise to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Lead transport advisory and planning projects from inception to delivery.
- Ensure project delivery within timelines, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
Strategy & Planning
- Develop and review transport strategies, mobility plans, and policy frameworks.
- Provide technical expertise in urban mobility, traffic engineering, and multi-modal transport systems.
- Guide GIS-based spatial analysis and data-driven transport planning solutions.
Modelling & Analysis
- Oversee transport modelling activities, including network development, demand forecasting, and scenario analysis.
- Manage data collection, validation, and analysis for traffic and mobility studies.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities to support project objectives.
- Support business development through proposal writing, bid management, and client acquisition.
Team Leadership
- Mentor and manage junior staff, interns, and consultants.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, Urban Planning, or related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in transport planning or consultancy.
- Strong expertise in transport planning principles, traffic engineering, and mobility systems.
- Experience in transport modelling tools (VISUM, Vissim, Aimsun, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale urban mobility or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of sustainable transport and smart city initiatives.
- Familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, Matlab) for data analysis.
- Experience working with public sector clients or international projects.
