Role Purpose
The Senior Talent Management Specialist improves the Talent Management discipline across McDermott by applying in-depth knowledge and best practices. They solve complex talent management problems, work independently with minimal guidance, and act as a resource and mentor to colleagues with less experience.
Key Responsibilities
Training and Development
- Collaborate with the Global People Services Management team and other stakeholders to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for employees.
- Develop programs and curriculum for employee onboarding and on-the-job training.
- Design, create, and refresh training documents.
- Provide support and coaching for new employees to accelerate their onboarding.
- Analyze the effectiveness of the training and develop appropriate modifications as needed.
Monitoring and Compliance
- Develop a process to monitor and ensure employees are performing their responsibilities according to the training.
Systems and Operations
- Coordinate system testing for upgrades and enhancements, including organizing testing scripts, tracking methods, and testers.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5β7 years of HR and/or Talent Management experience required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience working with HR systems, Oracle preferred but not required.
- Background in client-focused operations.
- Experience in the development and implementation of initiatives.
- Successful degree-holding candidates must provide a degree equivalency certificate issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR). Candidates without this certificate are recommended to commence the process to avoid delays in the offer and onboarding process.
