Role Overview

Role Purpose

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to patients across assigned clinical areas while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions.
• Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.

Leadership & Mentoring

• Lead and supervise junior nursing staff and support workers.
• Mentor and develop nursing team members.
• Model professional nursing standards and ethical practice.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures and clinical protocols.
• Report and escalate patient safety concerns and adverse events.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate effectively with patients, families and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Provide patient and family education regarding care and treatment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Current nursing registration or license required.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in acute care hospital setting preferred.
