Senior Specialist - Operational Readiness

Role Overview

Senior Specialist – Operational Readiness at Qiddiya Investment Company. The role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of operational readiness activities to ensure new assets, facilities, systems, or services are prepared for successful operations.

Role Purpose

Support the transition of new assets, facilities, systems, or services from project delivery to operations by assisting in tracking readiness plans, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress, and maintaining documentation for a smooth operational handover.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Documentation

• Support the development and maintenance of Operational Readiness plans, schedules, and trackers.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including readiness evidence and project records.
• Assist in ensuring operational documentation is complete before handover.
• Support the development and review of operational procedures, SOPs, and work instructions.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to monitor readiness activities and collect status updates.
• Coordinate readiness workshops, meetings, and site inspections, documenting actions and follow-ups.
• Work closely with project teams and operational departments to support a seamless transition to business-as-usual operations.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

• Track readiness milestones, actions, risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating concerns where required.
• Assist in the preparation of readiness reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.

Testing & Validation

• Support testing activities, including operational trials, simulations, and readiness assessments.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve readiness processes and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in Operational Readiness, Project Management, Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of project lifecycle and operational handover processes.
