Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC) is an organization with environmental compliance obligations and regulatory requirements managed across multiple projects and operations.

Role Purpose

Support the delivery of environmental compliance activities and implement compliance initiatives aligned with QIC's regulatory obligations and internal requirements. Provide operational and administrative support across environmental compliance monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder coordination to ensure adherence to applicable regulations and permit conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Framework & Implementation

• Support the implementation of environmental compliance frameworks, procedures, and related programs in line with QIC's regulatory obligations and departmental plans.
• Contribute to the integration of compliance requirements into project activities by supporting coordination across functions.
• Assist in the execution of project activities related to compliance and assurance by providing research, documentation, and administrative support.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Assist in monitoring compliance performance data and preparing routine reports to support adherence to applicable regulations, permit conditions, and internal requirements.
• Collect, organize, and analyze compliance data to support reporting, issue tracking, and decision-making.

Assessments & Audits

• Participate in compliance assessments, inspections, audits, and reviews by gathering information, maintaining records, and following up on action items.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, as directed by the manager, to support environmental compliance initiatives and reporting requirements.
• Support the delivery of awareness sessions, presentations, and communications on environmental compliance topics.

Regulatory Knowledge & Development

• Stay informed on relevant environmental regulations, permit requirements, standards, and industry practices, and share updates with the wider team as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Compliance, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in any of the engineering fields (e.g. Chemical, Mechanical).
• Approximately 2–4 years of relevant experience in environmental compliance, environmental management, assurance, or a related field.
• Experience supporting large-scale projects or complex organizations is desirable.
• Working knowledge of environmental regulations, permit conditions, compliance obligations, and reporting requirements.

• Ability to manage assigned tasks, maintain accurate records, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

• Relevant certifications such as ISO 14001, environmental compliance, regulatory compliance, or similar are advantageous.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and meetings as required.
