Role Overview

Senior Specialist, Digital Change Management at ADNOC, based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Role Purpose

As a key member of the Digital Change Management team, partner closely with business functions to capture, understand, prioritize, and describe their digital demands. Serve as the primary business interface to digital delivery and enablement functions for effective alignment with business needs. Manage communication with customer functions, lead transition efforts, and help customers adopt and adapt to new digital services and solutions while maintaining optimal customer satisfaction levels.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Change Management & Advisory

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact from Digital for business line managers and key contacts to communicate IT services and capabilities.
  • Plan and lead the liaison between business functions and the Group Digital & Cybersecurity teams to provide required guidance to business users and maintain positive relationships with Group Digital & Cybersecurity customers.
  • Develop recommendations to facilitate joint or coordinated application project delivery across business units in collaboration with other Digital teams.
  • Evaluate joint initiatives as they relate to corporate strategy to ensure convergence and opportunities for measurable success.
  • Support high-level feasibility studies in pre-project phase to determine the viability of progressing a solution or service.
  • Advise the business line on the risks and benefits of existing and new technology to build competitive advantage and improve business performance.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for future domain-specific implementations.

Strategy & Communications

  • Market digital solutions to the business and run awareness campaigns to promote their efficiency and utilization.
  • Develop a communications program to maintain an effective communication channel with customers that builds stronger relationships.
  • Define digital change management strategy across the group companies and standardize communications for the Group Digital & Cybersecurity projects.
  • Supervise the tracking of Business Portfolio Communications of Group Digital & Cybersecurity Projects.

Stakeholder Relationship Building

  • Build and improve customer relationships through conducting surveys, forming focus groups, benchmarking best practices, and analysing information and application usage.
  • Lead the liaison with business unit management and enable them to articulate their technology needs and requirements that will advance business performance.

Roadmap & Strategic Planning

  • Coordinate with internal Digital & Cybersecurity Teams to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.
  • Contribute to business strategic planning process and facilitate the Group Digital & Cybersecurity execution of business changes through the use of technology to meet the Function's objectives.

Change Management Implementation

  • Implement best practices for all Change Management activities and implementations.
  • Provide required training and support to users during and after deployment of any relevant digital solutions.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
  • Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver respective business objectives.

Governance & Compliance

  • Implement approved Function, Division, Department, Section policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures to support execution of work programs in line with Company and International standards.
  • Contribute toward and promote the protection of ADNOC Digital assets and corporate information against threats to their security by implementing the Company information security standards and all other related policies, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Comply with relevant Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices, and ADNOC Code of Practices.

Operations & Performance

  • Provide input for preparation of the Function, Division, Department, Section budgets, assist in the implementation of approved budgets and work plans to deliver business objectives.
  • Contribute to the achievement of approved Performance Objectives for the Function, Division, Department, Section in line with the Company Performance framework.
  • Provide inputs to prepare Management Information Systems and progress reports for Company Management.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.
  • Identify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant IT experience including at least 5 years in positions of progressively increasing technical and managerial responsibilities in IT with emphasis on IT solutions, application development, and project management.

Communications & Working Relationships

Internal

  • Regular contact with IT Management Team and End-users across ADNOC Group on services delivery and operations related matters.
  • Frequent contact with Programs, Projects Managers, and Architects on matters related to services transition, roadmap development, and projects and programs delivery.
  • Regular contact with counterparts in ADNOC Group Companies on IT-related matters.

External

  • Frequent contact with external auditors, local and international vendors, consultants, and IT professional organizations to facilitate quality and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Occasional contact with counterparts in regional and international oil companies for exchange of information, benchmarking, study visits, and other programs.
  • Regular contact with local and international IT service providers on matters related to IT services delivery and strategic directions.
