Role Overview

Senior Sales Engineer - BMS, Controls at Johnson Controls, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Role Purpose

Drive growth and manage major accounts by developing business through AMC contracts, pull-through and retrofit jobs, and control optimization and digital solution selling for the Service Department of Building Technology and Solutions, with focus on Controls and Digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Strategy

• Adhere to company processes, policies, and compliances.
• Differentiate Johnson Controls through market understanding and sales strategies.

Customer Engagement & Solutions

• Develop solutions for customer challenges using BMS product portfolio.
• Identify strategic accounts within the JCI installed base to grow business.

Business Development

• Focus on AMC contracts, retrofit jobs, control optimization, and digital solution selling.
• Generate new business and pull-throughs to maintain and expand accounts.

Collaboration & Proposal Development

• Work with internal pre-sales teams to create techno-commercial solutions.
• Create technical and commercial proposals for customers and tenders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or relevant experience.
• 5–7 years selling maintenance and service contracts, replacement and upgrade projects focusing on Building Management Systems.
• Proven ability to maintain and expand accounts by generating new business and pull-throughs.
• Valid UAE Driving License.
