Senior S3D Tool Administrator at Technip Energies, based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, reporting directly to the Head of the Department.

Role Purpose

To manage S3D installation, setup, customization, administration, and training across FEED and EPC projects, ensuring optimal system performance and multi-discipline user support throughout project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & System Configuration

• Install S3D Application Server and Client.
• Configure Batch Server, Name Generator, IFC server, clash rules, and Rule Checker service.
• Configure Global Works share and Citrix setup for S3D.
• Support setup of SPF Integrated Environment according to project requirements.

Customization & Administration

• Create, customize, and administer S3D Site, Plant, and Catalog.
• Perform multi-discipline Catalog creation and symbol customization.
• Develop custom Name Rules.
• Customize S3D multi-discipline Support Library using Visual Studio.
• Deliver multidiscipline layout drawings, ISO drawings, and custom reports.
• Execute all customizations and configurations required for S3D.

Data & Workflow Management

• Publish and retrieve data to and from S3D, SPID, and SPF.
• Support users in publishing from S3D and retrieving into S3D.
• Provide support for correlation issues.
• Create Project Procedures Based on Client and Project Requirements.
• Establish Project Breakdown Structure (PBS) per SPF or client requirement, defining and creating discipline-wise hierarchy to suit project and client need.

User Support & Training

• Deliver multi-discipline S3D user support and training.
• Prepare 3D model review datasets and participate in client review meetings.

Stakeholder & Technical Management

• Interface with IT and Hexagon for all S3D-related issues.
• Handle company audits and data handover to client.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• 13 to 16 years of FEED or EPC work experience in a similar S3D administrator role.
• Experience in S3D Administration and Customization.
• Experience customizing S3D using Dot Net Programming (VB, C#).
• Knowledge of engineering data flow in multi-discipline FEED and EPC projects.
• Knowledge of Pipe Support Customization using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of Symbol Customization using Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of Drawing, Report, and Label customization.
• Knowledge of working with Smartplant Foundation (retrieve, correlate, publish).
