Role Overview
Senior Risk Manager at OKX. The role supports the Regional Head of Risk in overseeing financial and non-financial risks across the region, maintaining robust risk frameworks, controls, governance, and reporting while ensuring risks are managed in line with the firm's risk appetite, Group standards, and regulatory requirements.

Role Purpose
To support the Regional Head of Risk in maintaining and enhancing regional risk frameworks, controls, and governance across all relevant jurisdictions while identifying, assessing, and monitoring financial and non-financial risks against the firm's approved risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Oversight & Analysis
- Support the Regional Head of Risk in overseeing financial and non-financial risks across the region's entities.
- Prepare analyses and recommendations for review by senior leadership.
- Identify, assess, and monitor financial and non-financial risks, including operational, technology, cybersecurity, market, credit, liquidity, and reputational risks.
Frameworks & Governance
- Maintain and enhance regional risk frameworks, internal controls, and governance documentation.
- Ensure alignment with Group standards and regulatory requirements across all relevant jurisdictions.
- Maintain risk governance documentation and reporting, including policies, key risk indicators (KRIs), and risk appetite statements.
Risk Monitoring & Escalation
- Monitor financial and non-financial risks against the firm's approved risk appetite.
- Escalate material changes, emerging risks, and potential limit breaches to the Regional Head of Risk.
- Support the implementation of risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs).
- Monitor associated findings and remediation actions.
- Track relevant key risk indicators (KRIs).
Third-Party & Outsourcing Risk
- Review third-party and outsourcing risk assessments.
- Maintain corresponding entries in the enterprise risk register.
- Escalate material findings.
Cross-Function Coordination
- Coordinate with Compliance, Legal, and other relevant functions to incorporate regulatory requirements and financial crime considerations into regional risk management activities.
- Coordinate internal and external audit activities.
- Assist the Regional Head of Risk in preparing for regulatory reviews and supervisory engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Seven years of experience in enterprise risk management, internal audit, or compliance within regulated financial services, fintech, or digital asset firms.
- Experience supporting or contributing to the build-out of a risk function, including frameworks for internal controls, risk appetite, and governance, under the direction of a Head of Risk or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of financial and non-financial risk domains, including operational, technology and cybersecurity, market, credit, and liquidity risk.
- Familiarity with recognised risk management methodologies.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, PRM, or CRMA are desirable.
- Legally eligible to work in the relevant jurisdiction.

- Sound judgement and ability to escalate material matters appropriately.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Additional languages are a plus.
