Senior Manager, Investigations, Diligence and Compliance - Specialist

Role Overview

Senior Manager, Investigations, Diligence and Compliance - Specialist at Kroll. This is a hybrid position requiring regular international travel.

Role Purpose

Lead complex investigations and compliance work streams from structuring through closure, delivering commercially viable advice to corporate clients while developing the Financial Investigations Practice across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities

Case Management & Delivery

• Own case execution or work streams of large cases through to closure, including project structuring, resource management, findings presentation and client advice.
• Conduct fact-finding interviews with stakeholders involved in cases.

Client Advisory

• Assist clients in investigating alleged regulatory breaches and instances of fraud, bribery and corruption across EMEA.
• Advise corporate clients in developing and enhancing fraud, sanctions and ABC compliance programs.
• Assist mid-tier financial institutions in assessing and improving their fraud, AML/ABC and Sanctions risk management.

Practice Development

• Support development of the Financial Investigations Practice in the region by identifying new clients and business opportunities.
• Retain key relationships with existing clients.

Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive experience working in a reputable professional or financial services firm, investigative organization, or in-house investigation role.
• Internationally recognized accounting qualification (minimum 5 years post-qualified).
• Forensic accounting or Financial Investigation experience in practice or regulatory environment.
• Commercial understanding of both developed and emerging markets.

• Exceptional presentation and client relationship skills.
• Proven quantitative, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong understanding of project financials and financial management.
• Strong commercial acumen and market awareness.
• Intellectually curious with ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Fluency in another language is advantageous.
