Senior Manager - HSE (Stadium)

Role Overview

Senior Manager - HSE (Stadium) at JASARA PMC. This is a critical leadership position focused on health, safety, and environmental management for stadium construction and operations projects.

Role Purpose

Lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of comprehensive HSE programs specifically tailored to stadium environments. Ensure all HSE practices meet the highest standards, protect the safety of workers, visitors, and stakeholders, promote a culture of safety and compliance, and facilitate successful project delivery while mitigating risks across all stadium-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & Program Development

• Develop and implement stadium-specific HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with regulations and best practices.
• Promote continuous improvement in HSE practices through innovation and adoption of new technologies.

Risk Assessment & Compliance Monitoring

• Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and safety audits tailored to stadium construction and operational environments.
• Monitor compliance with local, national, and international HSE regulations applicable to stadium projects.

Incident Management

• Oversee incident investigations, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Contractor & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and third parties to ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Work closely with project teams, contractors, and local authorities to develop and implement HSE programs.

Training & Awareness

• Lead HSE training and awareness programs focused on stadium-specific risks and safety protocols.
• Foster a proactive safety culture that encourages reporting, transparency, and accountability among all staff and contractors.

Emergency Preparedness

• Ensure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and regularly tested for stadium environments.

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare regular HSE performance reports and communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in HSE management, with significant exposure to stadium or large venue projects.
• In-depth knowledge of stadium construction and operational safety standards and regulations.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective HSE programs in complex project environments.
• Experience in incident investigation, risk assessment, and emergency response planning.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary HSE teams.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Additional Information

• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
