Role Overview

Senior Legal Specialist at Ninja, joining the Legal Affairs team.

Role Purpose

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements while providing legal and commercial risk advice to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Maintain contract records, approvals, renewals, and key contractual terms.

Legal Advisory

• Identify and advise on legal and commercial risks within contracts.
• Provide legal advice to business units on contractual matters.
• Assess contractual risks.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Support complex and high-value contract negotiations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel when required.
• Mentor junior Legal Specialists and contribute to improving contract processes.

Dispute Resolution

• Support dispute resolution related to contractual matters.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
• 4–7 years of experience in contract law, commercial law, or in-house legal practice.
• Strong hands-on experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience providing legal advice and assessing contractual risks.
• Experience in the E-commerce, Technology, or Retail sectors is preferred.
• Experience in a holding company or multi-entity environment is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

• Legal practice license is preferred.
