Role Overview
Senior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst at HALA, a leading fintech player in the MENAP region, based in Saudi Arabia.

Role Purpose
The Senior FP&A Analyst will support budgeting and forecasting cycles, drive improvements to reporting through automation and AI-enabled analysis, support HALA's Oracle EPM implementation, and act as a trusted finance partner to stakeholders across the business in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead and support the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, working closely with business unit stakeholders
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare monthly management reporting, variance analysis and commentary for senior leadership
- Build, maintain and improve financial models to support business planning and decision-making
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and business cases for key strategic initiatives
- Prepare commentary and presentation materials for quarterly board reporting
Process Improvement & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting processes, including the use of AI tools, to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, tools and controls
Systems & Data Management
- Support the rollout and ongoing use of Oracle EPM for budgeting, forecasting and planning
- Partner with SQL/BI tools to extract, analyze and present financial and operational data
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial reporting outputs
Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with stakeholders across finance, operations and commercial teams in a positive, collaborative manner
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in an FP&A or financial analysis role, ideally within a fintech, payments or startup / fast-moving environment
- Proven experience with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Accounting qualification such as ACCA or an equivalent Saudi-recognized qualification (e.g. SOCPA) preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, financial modelling and pivot tables
- SQL and/or reporting automation experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Oracle EPM or a similar EPM/planning system is a strong plus
- Comfortable using AI tools to support and accelerate financial analysis and reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build positive working relationships across the business
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented and comfortable working with large datasets
- Self-motivated, proactive and keen to drive improvements to reporting and processes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (Arabic a plus)
