Role Purpose

Provide professional expertise and supervise contractor activities during minor scheme construction, mechanical completion, and ready-for-commissioning stages to ensure full compliance with Company HSE, Quality, and technical regulations and standards. Coordinate field input and contribution to field development plans including management of change and engineering projects at all relevant stages.

Key Responsibilities

Construction Execution

• Plan, direct, and supervise the activities of assigned personnel and exercise financial authority at the level established for the position.
• Participate in review of project planning packages to identify areas of improvement, major risks, and shortfalls in the schedule.
• Develop project execution strategy in coordination with Sites in accordance with project execution standards to ensure smooth implementation.
• Investigate and identify constructability issues as early as possible to attain appropriate solutions at time of implementation.
• Identify in advance specific HSE critical aspects to be considered and assessed prior to implementation to ensure construction work is carried out safely.
• Review and approve contractor Submittals including Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Method of Statements, Mechanical Completion, and Ready for Commissioning dossiers in coordination with Technical authorities.
• Attend regular meetings with contractors to review progress and schedule compliance.
• Review contractor reports and ensure accuracy.
• Review materials approval requests provided by Contractor to ensure consistency with approved drawings and specifications.
• Ensure materials received are as per project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure contractors' full adherence to HSE policies and performance in line with approved ADNOC Onshore HSE policies and procedures during execution and handover.
• Conduct regular site visits and audits to ensure safety assurance program requirements are followed and implemented.
• Accompany contractors on site visits to physically survey work magnitude and locations to assess any interaction with existing facilities.
• Attend Request For Inspection (RFI) meetings raised by Contractors and inspect in line with ADNOC procedures for Contractors QA/QC requirements specification, Statement of Work, and approved ITP.
• Conduct final walk-down with end user and contractor to ensure proper handover of constructed facility and closure of open items.

Project Operation Coordination

• Maintain a schedule of activities related to field development plans, projects, and plant modifications.
• Advise site operations on such activities.
• Provide coordinated site operations field input to project and construction, Engineering, Planning and Support, and Development during all development plant and project phases including conceptual studies, project identification, basic and detailed engineering, construction, and commissioning.
• Attend related project meetings and present on behalf of assigned fields to advise all concerned company organizations, contractors, and work progress.
• Coordinate and participate in field review of all designs, procedures, and plans related to projects with particular emphasis on incorporating field operating philosophy, work practices, and gained experience.
• Ensure individual field tasks that contribute to project plans are properly coordinated and completed on time.
• Facilitate proper evaluations and implementation of minor field-sponsored projects and plant performance reviews/modification proposals to enhance the quality of technical preparation and economic evaluation prior to submission to Operations Management and Petroleum Development and/or Engineering Division.
• Receive physical completion certificates regarding site-installed modifications and new plants.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, handover, and project close-out activities ensuring records and as-built drawings are accurately monitored.
• Establish and manage interfaces between different Asset Divisions within AON, including Master Plan and Corporate NOC teams, and external interfaces of non-AON projects with asset facilities and installations.
• Support and coordinate new well tie-in works for Assets as per business plan to meet production targets.
• Facilitate Management of Change as Asset's MOC coordination function.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position within Oil & Gas companies.
