Role Overview
Senior Engineer - Civil at AECOM, based in the UAE. You will support the Resident Engineer in supervising and managing the construction of stormwater drainage networks, microtunneling works, and associated civil structures, ensuring full compliance with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.

Role Purpose
To develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for stormwater and microtunneling works, conduct comprehensive inspections, manage inspector performance, and maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality objectives, and project schedules throughout all construction phases.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Assurance & Quality Control
- Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control procedures for stormwater and microtunneling works, including inspection and test plans and method statements.
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of installations to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Site Supervision & Oversight
- Monitor inspector performance and ensure effective site supervision with complete documentation of all activities.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, quality objectives, and project schedules throughout all construction phases.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and submit progress reports for assigned works to the Resident Engineer and Project Manager for inclusion in project documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Professional civil engineering background with demonstrated experience in stormwater drainage and microtunneling projects.
- Experience with site supervision and inspector management in a construction environment.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection methodologies, and construction standards.
- Familiarity with UAE regulatory standards and construction requirements.
