Role Overview
AtkinsRéalis Infrastructure Business is seeking a Senior Dry Utilities Engineer – Design to join its Abu Dhabi office. The role supports infrastructure multi-disciplinary projects for clients in the GCC, including planning, designing, and engineering related to dry utilities networks comprised of power (MV/LV), substations, electrical networks, renewable energy resources, street lighting, and telecommunications.

Role Purpose
The Senior Dry Utilities Engineer will provide technical support and expertise on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, driving designs and delivery from tender through completion while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and fostering team development.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Expertise
- Provide technical support on large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects delivery.
- Provide technical expertise on a variety of large engineering projects.
- Support in designs and budgets and drive projects from tender to delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Reporting & Compliance
- Report on project performance.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and ensure that a good Health & Safety culture is engendered within the team.
Team Development & Stakeholder Management
- Assist in developing a highly motivated and performing team creating opportunities for the development of individuals.
- Increase your networking profile with both internal and external clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10+ years of design experience in a similar role or project.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical writing and communications skills.
- Ability to process paper and electronic documents and utilize computer equipment.
- Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
- Ability to assemble and analyze data.
- Ability to visit project sites if necessary.
- Experience and familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux Software, and Revit/BIM experience are a plus.
