Senior Director - Development (Security)

Role Overview

Senior Director - Development (Security) at Qiddiya Investment Company. This is a leadership role overseeing security development projects in Saudi Arabia and the GCC region.

Role Purpose

Lead cross-functional teams in the successful planning and execution of security projects from concept to completion, delivering innovative solutions that align with Qiddiya's vision while demonstrating robust understanding of the real estate development process.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage security development projects, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and strategy of Qiddiya Investment Company.
• Coordinate and manage the project team through the delivery process to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with approved design.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including operators, contractors, consultants, and government authorities to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, investors, and partners.

Compliance & Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning requirements, and environmental standards throughout the development process.
• Monitor project progress and budget, implement effective risk management strategies and cost management.

Reporting & Communication

• Prepare and present project plans, reports, and updates to senior management and the board of directors.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication.

Strategic Development

• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 15+ years of relevant professional working experience.
• Program and/or Portfolio Management Qualification highly regarded.
• Demonstrated end-to-end experience in the development of security assets with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and GCC Region.
