Role Purpose
As Senior Design Manager, you will guide architectural design delivery across a range of asset types, bringing strategic oversight, design leadership, and strong cross-functional collaboration to projects to ensure that design outcomes are imaginative, effective, and aligned with wider project objectives and quality expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Design Leadership
- Steer architectural design projects across various asset types.
- Oversee a dedicated design team and support high-quality design delivery.
- Apply a strategic approach to deliver imaginative and effective design solutions.
Quality & Alignment
- Ensure that design work aligns with project objectives and quality standards.
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders throughout the design process.
- Manage client-side leadership, internal multidisciplinary teams, external consultants, and contractors.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in architectural design management, including managing complex design projects from inception to completion.
- Experience with stage-gate design reviews, BIM coordination workflows, and value engineering.
- Experience with safety-in-design practices.
- Registered architect license.
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with sustainability principles in design and construction.
- Experience in mixed-use developments is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Additional Information
- PMP certification is desired.
- LEED accreditation is desired.
