Senior Cost Specialist (Ras Tanura)

Role Overview

Senior Cost Specialist at KBR, located in Ras Tanura.

Role Purpose

Forecast, control, and report project costs across the organization. Develop project variances, trending analysis, and expenditure reports while reviewing costs by category and calculating future costs based on labor productivity, material pricing, subcontracts, wage rates, and risk analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Cost Analysis

• Forecast project costs required within the organization.
• Review project costs incurred by category.
• Calculate future costs based on labor productivity, material price increases, subcontract rates, wage rates, and risk analysis.
• Develop and provide project variances and trending analysis of expenditures.
• Deliver completion reports.

Process Development & Problem Solving

• Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices in project controls.
• Develop and improve cost control processes using experience and problem-solving skills.

Team Support

• Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree.
• 8 or more years of experience in project cost control or related field.

Additional Information

• Work performed under general supervision.
• Experience in field and industry best practices in project controls is essential.
