Role Purpose

Enhance the promotion of Amgen's products and communicate critical messages by collaborating with partners to serve patients.

Key Responsibilities

Territory & Account Planning

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory Plan of Action and key account plans.
• Evaluate progress versus plan monthly and agree to course corrections with manager.
• Partner with cluster/territory teams and Marketing, Medical Affairs/Value & Access teams to agree on key account plan objectives and responsibilities.
• Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with Plan of Action priorities.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

• Follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely fashion.
• Seek inputs and assistance to prioritize activities in a timely fashion and follow up with customers.
• Demonstrate an understanding of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate.
• Demonstrate an understanding of industry and healthcare trends.

Product Knowledge & Professional Development

• Engage with peers, District Manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge.
• Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs.

Systems & Reporting

• Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up to date.
• Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen Performance for selling platform to satisfy customer and Amgen needs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialty care therapy area.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the UAE pharmaceutical market.
• Experience in rheumatology, osteoporosis, orthopedics, endocrinology, or related therapeutic areas.
• Experience working across both government and private healthcare sectors.
• Experience in key account management and strategic account planning.
• Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across different organizational levels.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access functions.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong customer focus and relationship management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and manage time effectively.
• Self-driven and accountable for achieving business objectives.
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management principles.
• Exposure to project management principles.
• Understanding of the UAE healthcare ecosystem, patient pathways, and access environment.
• Proven resilience in complex and dynamic environments.
• Demonstrated learning agility and adaptability.
