Senior Accountant (IFRS, VAT & Costing)

Role Overview

Senior Accountant (IFRS, VAT & Costing) at Sealy Mattress Middle East, located at Regional Headquarters in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (Industrial City, Phase 5). Full-time, on-site position.

Role Purpose

Manage general ledger workflows, product costing, and financial compliance. Oversee financial closing cycles, ensure adherence to local tax standards, and collaborate with business units to drive fiscal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Manage monthly and yearly financial closings.
• Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Oversee fixed assets management and audit processes.

Taxation & Portals

• Handle ZATCA-compliant VAT filings.
• Process Zakat filings.
• Manage e-invoicing requirements.

Operations & Controls

• Monitor cash flows.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Review payroll via the Saudi Madad portal.

Cost Control

• Partner with manufacturing and retail units to manage cost structures.
• Conduct variance analysis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in accounting or financial operations within manufacturing, retail, or FMCG sectors.
• Open to Saudi, Indian, Jordanian, or Lebanese nationals residing in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in ERP systems, including Odoo.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
• SOCPA, CMA, or ACCA certification preferred.
