Role Overview
Senior Account Executive, LE/GE, GTS - Eastern Region at Gartner, Inc. This is a field-based, direct sales role responsible for client retention and growth through contract expansion and introduction of new products and services.

Role Purpose
Consult with C-level executives to develop and implement effective, enterprise-wide strategies that maximize the value delivered by Gartner's products and services. Drive client retention and account growth while building strong relationships at the executive level within large enterprise organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management & Growth
- Own account management with outcomes of increased customer satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
- Carry quota responsibility of $800,000+ of contract value within a territory of major client accounts.
- Drive contract expansion and introduce new products and services to existing clients.
Sales Execution & Territory Management
- Execute Gartner's sales methodology with mastery and consistency.
- Conduct account planning and territory management.
- Maintain forecast accuracy on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develop deep, in-depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Maintain competitive knowledge and focus within the market.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience with proven consultative sales, preferably in high technology (services, software, or consultative environment).
- Evidence of prior success in Sales.
- Proven experience building excellent client relationships at C-level within large enterprise organizations.
- Bachelor's or master's degree desired.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong demonstration of intellect, drive, executive presence, and sales acumen.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
