Role Purpose

Oversee and coordinate security measures to protect staff, customers, and assets. Work with the management team to implement security protocols, conduct regular security audits, and respond to security incidents and emergencies. Contribute to the overall success and reputation of the dealership through expert security leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

• Lead and manage a team of security personnel, providing effective supervision and guidance.
• Train and educate staff on security protocols, ensuring a culture of awareness and preparedness.

Security Planning & Implementation

• Develop and implement security plans and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe environment.
• Conduct regular security patrols and inspections to identify potential vulnerabilities and take appropriate action.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in security management, implementing innovative solutions.

Incident Response & Compliance

• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and customer complaints, ensuring a swift and effective resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and standards, including health and safety protocols.

Documentation & Record-Keeping

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of security-related activities, including incident reports and security logs.

Operational Integration & Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate security measures into daily operations and special events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Recognized security certification or relevant qualification, such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Manager (CSM).

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in using security technology and systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols, risk assessment, and emergency response procedures.
