Role Overview
Security Manager at Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar in Doha. This role is accountable for the security and safety measures throughout the resort.

Role Purpose
Maintain strategic oversight of every aspect of the resort's physical security and safety for guests, employees, assets and reputation, including staffing, budgets, protocols, procedures and crisis management.
Key Responsibilities
Security Operations
- Manage and supervise the day-to-day security force of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.
- Implement all policies and procedures regarding security and safety.
- Design and implement preventive safety and security programs.
- Ensure that security spaces and employee entrances are kept clean at all times.
Personnel Management
- Review and conduct performance evaluations for security staff.
- Motivate, supervise and coach the security team.
- Support the Director of Security with regards to scheduling, holiday management and overtime management while keeping in mind hotel operational needs.
- Act as a support in the onboarding and training process of new employees and help them complete their tasks.
Incident Management
- Investigate crimes committed against the hotel, guests and employees.
- Document all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversions, potential liabilities and insurance requirements, remaining objective and writing comprehensive reports.
- Prevent situations that could jeopardize the reputation of the hotel.
Guest and Stakeholder Service
- With support from upper management, manage all problems and complaints brought to your attention by guests.
- Help guests experiencing problems with their in-room safe.
- Help guests access their rooms in the event of a lost or defective room key.
- Welcome visitors, contractors and external vendors and register them in the visitors log.
- Help direct visitors and guests upon arrival at the hotel and answer any questions they may have.
- Have excellent knowledge of the services and amenities offered by the hotel as well as their schedules.
- Offer guests pleasant, efficient and professional service as per Four Seasons standards.
Department Leadership
- Actively participate in department meetings and prepare appropriate summaries.
- Be well versed in procedures and communicate them as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- One to two years of experience in a similar position with a luxury hotel or resort.
- Degree and diploma preferred but not required.
Skills & Competencies
- Outgoing personality and can-do approach to any task.
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Arabic language skills are a preferred asset.
