Security Analyst L2 (RE) at Innovative Solutions, based in the UAE Region. This role investigates complex security alerts, leads incident responses, and protects clients from cyber threats while mentoring junior analysts and improving detection capabilities.

Role Purpose
As an L2 SOC Analyst, you will investigate complex security alerts, lead incident response activities, and protect clients from cyber threats. You will also mentor junior analysts and drive improvements to detection tools and SOC processes.
Key Responsibilities
Investigation & Response
- Handle escalated security alerts and perform root-cause analysis.
- Mitigate security incidents and manage complex incident response activities.
Detection & Tuning
- Create and improve SIEM and SOAR use cases and detection rules.
- Actively search for hidden threats and indicators of compromise.
Mentoring & Process Improvement
- Guide L1 analysts in their development and day-to-day work.
- Upgrade SOC processes and security policies.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments.
- Strong knowledge of SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, packet analysis, and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) systems.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, GCIH, GCIA, or CISSP are a strong plus.
