Sales Manager at Six Senses The Palm Dubai, operated by IHG Hotels and Resorts, located in Dubai.

Role Purpose
To manage the efficient operation of the Sales department while upholding Six Senses brand vision, operating standards and budget. The Sales Manager will develop and execute revenue-maximizing strategies, build high-value client relationships across assigned sectors, and lead a productive sales team to deliver exceptional products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Revenue Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue and market share across assigned sectors.
- Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities within the region, leveraging competitor analysis and data insights to construct a measured, pro-active approach to driving revenue performance.
- Identify new business opportunities with selected agencies and companies, developing relationships to create new revenue streams and support market share.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and practices and update knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
Client & Stakeholder Management
- Travel to key markets to conduct face-to-face meetings, presentations and events to build relationships and negotiate business on behalf of cluster hotels.
- Proactively address client needs as needed, acting as a primary liaison between the client and the hotel to ensure a seamless experience on behalf of the guest.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the property, including type of rooms available, their location and layout, selling status, rates, benefits of all package plans, hotel credit policy and reservation coding.
Reporting & Governance
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on market trends and performance, target account performance and opportunities for growth.
- Work strategically with the Commercial Director and Director of Sales to develop cohesive and productive goals for the department and establish procedures and guidelines to achieve them.
- Maintain overall consistency of the Company's vision, quality and standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.
- Safeguard and ensure all departmental directives, practices and initiatives aligned with Six Senses vision and pillars are implemented, embraced and adopted within the property.
Budget & Operations
- Revise and control that the department's budget is strictly adhered to, and all costs are continually monitored and controlled to drive profitability while taking into consideration the preservation of required standards with every decision made.
Team Leadership
- Direct the performance and development of all hosts within the department through the provision of direction, encouragement, enthusiasm, discipline, performance evaluation and counselling.
- Build a loyal, productive and effective team.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration or other relevant faculty.
- Minimum 3 years total experience in luxury hospitality with direct supervisory experience over the GCC Market Segment.
- Proven results in a similar role in luxury hotels.
- Strong understanding of the business landscape in Dubai, including cultural nuances and market trends.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced MS Office proficiency: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
- Fluency in Arabic, strongly preferred.
