Sales Engineer - HVAC Service

Role Overview

Sales Engineer – HVAC Service at Johnson Controls, reporting to the Sales Manager – Dubai Aftermarket. Based in Dubai.

Role Purpose

Drive growth of the Aftermarket division for Building Technology and Solutions with focus on HVAC by expanding Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) sales, increasing aftermarket revenue, and converting the existing installation base into new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and close AMC opportunities, including preventive and predictive maintenance packages.
• Generate new business from the running HVAC installation base.
• Build long-term relationships with customers through proactive engagement.
• Position the right service solutions based on site conditions and customer needs.
• Convert technical insights into tangible business wins within your territory.
• Close business opportunities within the core Services segment.

Customer & Territory Management

• Approach existing installation base to generate new business opportunities.
• Understand site conditions and customer requirements to tailor service solutions.
• Maximize service penetration within the active install base.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in HVAC aftermarket or aftersales business for HVAC portfolio within GCC region.
• Expertise in HVAC Service offering with major focus on Chiller systems.
• Proven track record of sales achievements.
• Experience in HVAC core service sales within Dubai and Northern Emirates (preferred).

Skills & Competencies

• In-depth knowledge of chiller systems and service offerings.
• Proficiency in generating new business from running HVAC installation base.
• Strong commercial acumen and technical expertise.
• Determined, results-driven approach with strong sales drive.
• Self-motivation and ability to leverage technical knowledge commercially.
• Fluent English language skills.

• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
