Sales Associate

Role Overview

Sales Associate at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales by assisting customers in product selection, maintaining store presentation standards, and executing operational duties as assigned by store management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards following the company selling guideline: GUEST (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge of all group brands for suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Display

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers in accordance with standard layout norms.
• Ensure all Visual Merchandise guidelines are followed.
• Maintain all stock norms on clearance items.
• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports.

Point of Sale & Transactions

• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) and billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till at the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.

Store Operations & Security

• Perform store maintenance and visual presentation duties as assigned.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance of store security without negligence.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through product knowledge and vigilance.
