Sales Associate - UAE National

Role Overview

Sales Associate - UAE National at Apparel Group, based in the UAE. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver exceptional customer service and retail experience while performing operational duties including store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards and follow the company guideline of selling (GUEST – Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across the various brands of the group for suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Presentation

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and according to standard layout norms.
• Follow all VM (Visual Merchandising) guidelines and maintain Stock Norms on clearance.
• Record inventory inward and outward and maintain reports of the same.

Operations & Process

• Handle the POS (Point of Sale) and billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till during the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.
• Adhere to SOP and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without negligence.
• Work flexible shifts and overtime as per business requirement.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.

• Maintain presentable and well-groomed appearance at all times.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours during the sale period.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through product knowledge and vigilance.
