Sales Associate

Role Overview

Sales Associate at Apparel Group. The position is responsible for representing the brand by maximizing and contributing to sales within the store through exceptional customer service and retail experience.

Role Purpose

Deliver outstanding customer service and retail experience while performing operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service

• Greet customers and assist them in selecting the right product.
• Convert window shoppers to ultimate buyers.
• Promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales.
• Serve customers with the highest standards and follow the company guideline of selling (GUEST – Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank).
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across various brands in the group for suggestive selling.

Merchandise & Visual Presentation

• Ensure all stock is laid out and displayed to attract customers and according to standard layout norms.
• Ensure all visual merchandising guidelines are followed and stock norms on clearance are maintained.
• Record inventory inbound and outbound and maintain reports of the same.

Point of Sale & Payments

• Handle the Point of Sale (POS) billing counter efficiently.
• Tally money in the cash till during the beginning and end of shifts.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers correctly.
• Process payments by cash, credit cards, vouchers, and automatic debits.

Store Operations & Security

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without negligence.
• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Loss Prevention Policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of sales figures to outside parties.
• Ensure minimal stock loss through product knowledge and inventory control.
