Sales Associate

Role Overview

Sales Associate at Alghanim Industries. The role focuses on assisting customers and driving sales of products and services in the showroom by identifying and fulfilling customer needs and directing sales transactions toward achieving targets in cash, credit, warranty programs and accessories.

Role Purpose

To enhance and promote sales of products and services in the showroom by obtaining the knowledge and skills needed to identify and fulfill customer needs, and direct sales transactions to achieve overall sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Sales

• Promote products and services to customers
• Maximize sales transactions to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Strive to achieve pre-set sales targets in cash, credit, warranties and accessories
• Seek to improve and enhance product knowledge
• Ensure sales opportunities are constantly converted to sales transactions
• Create sales invoices and master BO and POS applications

Customer Service

• Demonstrate presentable appearance and a pleasant, friendly demeanor
• Provide high-level service to all customers
• Remain constantly aware of customer needs
• Interact with customers in a friendly and honest manner
• Demonstrate high-level product knowledge
• Recommend and encourage customers to select the best products and services based on their needs
• Expedite the sales process in an effective and efficient manner
• Explain Delivery and Installation (D&I) and return and exchange policies to customers
• Avoid harsh arguments and conflicts with customers

Operations

• Remain aware of all in-store promotions, discounts, credit, coupons and special offers
• Keep all company information, including sales figures, strictly confidential
• Follow all company safety and security procedures
• Conduct regular stock checks and liaise with stock control
• Report and process damaged display items to Showroom Manager
• Ensure all products are displayed as instructed according to planograms
• Ensure all products in specified areas are accurately priced
• Maintain sales area as accessible, clean and tidy for customers
• Conduct price changes as instructed by showroom management
• Master computer applications including Outlook, SAP, POS and BO

Qualifications & Experience

• 0–2 years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree
