Safety Engineer

Role Overview

Safety Engineer at Saeed Raddad Group.

Role Purpose

Develop, implement, and monitor the company's HSE management system across all FM contracts, ensuring operations stay compliant, risks are controlled, and a strong safety culture is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Policy & System Development

• Develop, update, and implement HSE policies, procedures, and the HSE management system.

Compliance & Auditing

• Conduct risk assessments, job safety analyses, and HSE audits across project sites.
• Monitor compliance with Saudi regulations, including the Ministry of Human Resources occupational safety requirements and Civil Defense requirements, client HSE requirements, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Review contractor and subcontractor HSE plans and method statements.

Incident Management

• Lead investigations of incidents and near misses, identify root causes, and follow up on corrective actions.

Training & Awareness

• Plan and deliver HSE training, inductions, and awareness programs.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Track HSE KPIs and prepare monthly reports for management and clients.

Operational Support

• Support site Safety Officers with technical guidance and supervision.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness plans and drills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC certification or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of HSE experience, preferably in facility management, construction, or industrial environments.

Skills & Competencies

• English and Arabic language proficiency.
