Role Purpose
The Roaming Superintendent oversees and manages maintenance and operational activities across multiple properties within DP World, ensuring properties are maintained to high standards through frequent site travel, addressing operational issues, supervising staff, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance activities across multiple properties.
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs to ensure property upkeep.
- Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and facilities.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and provide on-site problem-solving support.
Compliance & Safety
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance checks.
Supervision & Stakeholder Management
- Supervise on-site staff, contractors, and service providers, ensuring work is completed to the required standards.
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, and stakeholders to address concerns and ensure smooth operations.
Financial & Strategic Support
- Assist in budget planning and cost control for property maintenance and operations.
- Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives and efficiency improvements in property operations.
