Risk Management Analyst

Role Overview

Risk Management Analyst at stc. This role oversees Technology Risk Management to ensure high performance standards, continuous improvement, and effective risk mitigation plans.

Role Purpose

The role holder defines goals, provides risk management guidance, and serves as a center of excellence for stc. The position exists to manage Technology Risk Management and carry out duties in accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Risk Strategy & Framework

• Represent and act as unit risk champion to facilitate and implement risks and business continuity strategy, framework, methodologies, processes, procedures, and requirements in coordination with enterprise risk management.
• Ensure risk frameworks and practices are developed and applied consistently and coherently within the unit in accordance with the GRC framework and guidelines set by corporate controlling functions.

Risk Identification & Mitigation

• Identify unit sector stakeholder business risks related to the unit (financial, operational, technical, and regulatory) and ensure well-defined risk mitigation plans are in place as per enterprise risk management framework and guidelines.
• Develop and update the unit business continuity and risk mitigation plans for identified business risks.

Internal Controls & Reporting

• Lead engagement with unit sector stakeholders to define internal control register and report required progress and updates to enterprise risk management.
• Provide required periodic and ad hoc reports to enterprise risk management.

Qualifications & Experience

• 0 to 2 years of experience.
• Prior experience in Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in organization's Compliance strategies, Governance, and Risk Management.
• Prior experience in leading laws and regulations at organization level.
• Prior experience in Corporate Governance and GRC.

Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor degree in Risk Management or Business Administration.
