Role Purpose

Support underwriting operations across corporate, SME, and individual business segments by managing quote workflows, preparing benefits documentation, screening applications, and liaising with sales and underwriting teams to ensure timely, compliant processing and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Processing

• Manage the large corporate and SME team mailbox and allocation of quotes among underwriters.
• Prepare Table of Benefits for renewals and new business inceptions for corporate and SME.
• Perform legal check on new quote census.
• Screen SME and corporate groups before allocation.
• Generate reports from system and perform needful formatting.
• Support underwriters in other tasks as needed.

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with sales team to manage expectations on quote turnaround times.

Business Support

• Provide underwriting support for SME business renewals across Africa.
• Manage underwriting support for Individual business renewals across the Middle East.

Process Improvement & Compliance

• Participate in problem-solving activities to define problems, identify root causes, and suggest solutions for continuous improvement of processes and procedures to work more efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize and adhere to internal guidelines and procedures to ensure that all assigned work is processed in a timely manner and meets compliant standards.
