Role Overview

Restaurant Manager - Kigo at Four Seasons Hotel DIFC, Dubai. The role manages daily operations of an authentic fine dining Japanese cuisine restaurant within a boutique 106-room luxury hotel in the prestigious Dubai International Finance Centre.

Role Purpose

Lead restaurant operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining high service standards, financial performance, and operational compliance. Drive revenue and guest satisfaction through effective team management, cost control, and seamless coordination across all service areas.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Service Standards

  • Manage daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to high service standards.
  • Supervise and train staff to maintain excellent customer service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure seamless service delivery.

Financial Management

  • Monitor financial performance and control costs to optimize revenue.
  • Oversee inventory, ordering, and supplier management.

Guest Relations & Compliance

  • Handle guest relations and resolve customer complaints promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Marketing & Performance

  • Implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales.
  • Prepare reports and communicate performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in authentic or fine dining Japanese cuisine restaurant.
  • Full proficiency in Japanese language.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail.
