Role Overview

Repair & Maintenance Technician I - Well Service at Weatherford UAE. This is an entry-level position based in the UAE, providing hands-on technical support for the production and repair of equipment and tools in a shop environment.

Role Purpose

Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, inspect, paint, assemble, load, and store well service tools and equipment while maintaining strict adherence to documentation requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance & Repair

• Receive, disassemble, clean, pressure test, visually check, paint, assemble, load, and store tools and equipment.
• Follow maintenance processes and procedures to undertake tasks such as unloading, disassembly, cleaning, pressure testing, visual checking, painting, assembly, loading, and storage of tools.
• Repair machines, equipment, or structures using tools such as hammers, hoists, cranes, drills, wrenches, or precision measuring instruments.
• Inspect used parts to determine dimensional requirements using rules, calipers, micrometers, or other measuring instruments.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to all necessary documentation requirements.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and work areas in a presentable and safe working condition.
• Participate in daily operations, safety meetings, toolbox sessions, and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
• Promptly report any issues using appropriate tools.

Equipment Operations

• Utilize all tools and lifting equipment for opening and closing crates and containers.
• Operate pallet and forklift trucks for safe movement of equipment.
• Hold required certifications for lifting equipment, forklift trucks, and cranes.

Qualifications & Experience

• Entry-level candidate with a Diploma in Engineering.
