Role Overview

Registered Nurse Aesthetics Gyne at King's College Hospital London, Marina Clinic. The role provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility, including recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications, and developing patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Role Purpose

Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to outpatients attending the aesthetics gynaecology clinic. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operate and monitor medical equipment, and ensure optimal patient outcomes through collaborative care planning and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care Delivery

• Deliver a high standard of evidence-based care to patients.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Record patient histories and perform diagnostic tests as required.
• Administer medications and develop patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment as required.

Communication & Patient Support

• Provide regular and accurate updates to patients and their relatives, ensuring communication is sensitive and easy to understand.
• Support patients, caregivers, and families by involving them in the care process where appropriate.
• Provide health education to promote healthy lifestyles.

Compliance & Confidentiality

• Adhere to Dubai Health Authority guidelines and all relevant regulatory standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, ensuring dignity, privacy, cultural, and religious beliefs are respected.

Quality & Safety

• Participate in nursing audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold principles of infection control and participate in specialist link roles such as infection control, nursing audits, and quality projects.
• Ensure all staff are kept updated on infection control and quality initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• UAE Medical Health Authority License (DHA).
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a hospital or similar setting in gynaecology.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with the ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and stakeholders.
