Role Overview

Quality Supervisor (CTIP) with V2X, physically located in Kuwait in support of WEXMAC.

Role Purpose

Under supervision of the Management Operations Center Manager, ensure V2X and its subcontractors maintain a culture of compliance and zero tolerance for Trafficking in Persons (TIPs) in accordance with US Public Law, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), USG supplements, and Local Laws. Manage employee trainings and implement management methods to ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls. Lead a team that reviews and enforces compliance with contract-required standards and company internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Human Trafficking Knowledge

  • Apply knowledge of international standards related to exploitative child labor, forced labor, and human trafficking to specific case contexts, including C138, C182, C029, C105, UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, Executive Order 13126, Trade and Development Act of 2000, FAR 52.222-50, KSCR1-2, and Trafficking Victims Protection Act.
  • Conduct substantive legal and regulatory research on Human Trafficking and labor issues.
  • Develop and maintain self-knowledge of compliance issues, human trafficking, and related laws and policies through participation in assigned and recommended training opportunities and professional publications.
  • Maintain understanding of DoD Human Trafficking regulations.

Training & Program Management

  • Manage the CTIPS training program and review training materials, compliance plans, pay slips, financials, and program management practices and policies to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Respond within 24 hours to allegations, audit findings, requests for investigation, compliance audits, or advocacy services for potential victims of human trafficking.
  • Receive, track, and manage to closure all allegations, requests for information, and referrals.

Compliance Monitoring & Assessment

  • Assess the productivity, effectiveness, and efficiency of assigned program operations and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and controls by examining and analyzing records, reports, operating practices, and documentation.
  • Recommend opportunities to strengthen the internal control structure.
  • Identify noncompliance and corrective actions.
  • Identify ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of policies at both the program and Subcontractor level.

Audit & External Support

  • Support external auditors by coordinating information and logistics support requirements.

Confidentiality & Conduct

  • Adhere to the confidentiality policy regarding the company, its Subcontractors, and potential victims of trafficking.
  • Maintain all organizational and professional ethical standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to obtain ISO 9001:2015 Auditor certification.
  • Ability to obtain host nation driver license.
  • Must be CAC eligible or have ability to obtain a CAC.
  • One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.

Experience

  • 2–3 years of compliance, contract management, subcontract management, safety, or quality experience with a minimum of one year auditing experience preferred.
  • 1–2 years in overseas contracting environment highly desirable.

  • Particular vigilance in following up to ensure that developed plans addressing compliance issues have been implemented.

Additional Information

Working Conditions

  • Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions, including hot, dry, dusty, desert environment with average temperatures of 30 degrees in winter and 130 degrees in summer months.
  • Includes some industrial production environment conditions.

Physical Requirements

  • Light work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
  • Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working in areas with potential exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents.
  • Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations, including head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices.
  • Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and posted policies.
