QHSE Officer / QHSE Coordinator

Role Overview

QHSE Officer / Coordinator at Burjline Builders. This role supports the implementation and monitoring of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements across FM operations, ensuring compliance with company, client, Qatar, and international standards.

Role Purpose

Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and regulations across facility management operations by conducting inspections, audits, and assessments, investigating incidents, and coordinating with stakeholders to maintain safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Inspections & Audits

• Conduct routine QHSE inspections, audits, and site assessments.
• Monitor FM activities for compliance with approved safety procedures.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and monitor corrective actions.

Incident Management & Documentation

• Support incident investigation, reporting, and preventive actions.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, records, inspections, and reports.

Training & Awareness

• Conduct toolbox talks, awareness sessions, and safety briefings.

Coordination & Implementation

• Coordinate with operations teams, management, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of Quality, HSE, Environmental, and Risk Management systems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISO 45001 and applicable NFPA requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognized Health & Safety qualification.
• NEBOSH Diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years' QHSE experience after obtaining the NEBOSH qualification, within similar-sized GCC projects.
• Minimum 2 years' experience within Facility Management.
• Strong experience in safety audits, inspections, risk assessments, and site monitoring.

Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of ISO 45001, NFPA, and applicable Qatar requirements.
• Fluent in Arabic and English – mandatory.
• Strong communication, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information

• Multi-site FM experience is highly preferred.
