QC INSPECTOR (E&I)

Role Overview

QC Inspector (E&I) at NMDC Group. The role involves quality control inspections across an allocated project segment under execution.

Role Purpose

Conduct quality control inspections to ensure project work complies with specifications, identify and report nonconformities, follow up on remedial actions, and sign off completed work components.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection & Compliance

• Study project specifications and technical drawings to understand the work to be undertaken.
• Inspect work being carried out on projects within the allocated area of responsibility to ensure compliance with the Quality Inspection Plan.
• Ensure timely issuance of inspection and testing quality records and verify their adequacy to demonstrate conformity of construction works.

Issue Resolution & Reporting

• Resolve minor issues at the work site.
• Prepare non-conformance reports for serious breaches, setting out the circumstances.
• Generate inspection reports to record activities undertaken daily.
• Sign off completed work segments at respective hold points.
• Pass reports to Documentation for filing and safekeeping.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with client QC representative on inspection activities.
• Provide clarifications to client representatives.

Health, Safety & Environment

• Ensure compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Qualifications & Experience

• Post Secondary Technical Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Advanced discipline certification IECEx.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role and industry.
