QA/QC ENGINEER

Role Overview

QA/QC Engineer at NMDC Group.

Role Purpose

Establish and maintain quality assurance and quality control systems across project execution, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and procedures while coordinating with field teams to deliver timely corrective action and comprehensive documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Procedures

• Prepare project-specific quality plans and procedures for review and approval by senior colleagues in line with project quality requirements.
• Ensure that only approved project quality procedures, applicable standards, and specifications are available at the job location.

Coordination & Field Management

• Coordinate with field inspection and construction teams to ensure project quality control systems and plans are applied.
• Monitor inspection activities to ensure daily work activities are carried out within project timeframes and according to set standards.
• Follow up with field inspection teams to ensure timely resolution of nonconformities and implementation of corrective action plans.

Documentation & Reporting

• Ensure collation and logging of daily QC data on the QA/QC dashboard.
• Ensure proper documentation of QC inspection activities is progressively produced and compiled to always reflect inspection and test status.
• Review and follow up on non-conformance identified during inspections.
