QAQC Engineer

Role Overview

QA/QC Engineer with Saeed Raddad Group at Napesco, providing technical leadership for quality assurance and control across all service and manufacturing activities.

Role Purpose

Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and client specifications across all service and manufacturing operations. Drive continuous improvement, support audits and vendor management, and maintain quality standards throughout tool, equipment, and assembly lifecycles.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Procedures & Documentation

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, inspection plans, and documentation per API, ISO, and client requirements.
• Ensure equipment and tools are tagged, labeled, and traceable at each stage per company and client standards.
• Review and verify certification packages, inspection reports, and traceability records before delivery or mobilization.
• Commit to maintaining accurate quality records in line with company retention policy.

Inspections & Testing

• Perform in-process and final inspections of tools, equipment, and assemblies for TRS, GYRO, DHT, and manufacturing operations.
• Supervise all stages of service maintenance, including NDT inspections, ensuring compliance.
• Conduct dimensional verification, functional test witnessing, and visual inspections using calibrated tools.

Quality Control & Compliance

• Report non-conformities, participate in root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor performance against purchase and quality requirements.
• Support internal and external audits, client inspections, and maintain audit-ready documentation and records.

Collaboration & Improvement

• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates welcome; candidates with 3 or more years of oil-and-gas experience preferred.
• Knowledge of API Q1, ISO 9001, API 5CT, 7-1, 6A, and related oilfield service specifications.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification preferred.
• Familiarity with NDT inspection methods and equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with calibrated measurement tools and documentation software.
