Role Purpose

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of all public areas of the hotel. This role ensures that every guest encounters a spotless, welcoming, and well-maintained environment at all times, playing an essential role in supporting the hotel's reputation for exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning and Maintenance

• Clean, dust, and sanitize all areas of the guest room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom) according to procedure.
• Perform Room Attendant duties in occupied rooms and check-out rooms.
• Provide turndown service for guests.

Guest Experience

• Find opportunities to personalize the service experience for each guest.

General Duties

• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Assistant Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Manager or Director of Housekeeping.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of at least 1 year of experience in a similar role in a luxury brand.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong organization skills and an eye for attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Outgoing personality and a can-do approach to assigned tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
