Role Overview

Project Management Engineering Professional (Project Lead Engineer) at Hitachi Energy Engineering Technologies Co. (KSCC) in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Full-time position. Role Purpose

Lead and manage the technical aspects of engineering projects while providing strategic direction, mentoring engineering teams, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead and manage the technical execution of engineering projects, overseeing design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Define project technical objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

Risk & Issue Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.

Team Management

• Manage and mentor project engineering teams, providing technical guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.

Stakeholder Communication

• Communicate project status, technical challenges, and solutions effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to relevant engineering standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews and approvals of designs, specifications, and documentation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, procurement, and sales, to achieve project objectives.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 14 years of experience in engineering, with at least 5 years in a project lead role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects.
