PRODUCTION SENIOR OPERATOR

Role Overview

Production Senior Operator at Napco National. The role involves operating various types of printing machines, including gravure presses, to produce prints on different substrates such as paper, plastic, or foil, often running multiple machines simultaneously.

Role Purpose

To operate and manage printing production equipment, ensure quality output across multiple machines, maintain equipment and workspace standards, and support continuous improvement and compliance with production protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production Setup

• Prepare next jobs according to Factory job tickets and MPCCs.

Machine Start-Up

• Pour the right ink prepared by the ink section.
• Compare prints with chromalin or approved samples.
• Start the machine and take the sample for verification by QC for order start-up approval.

Job Settings

• Set machine parameters according to MPCC.

Production Monitoring

• Fill production reports.
• Follow up printing process and check for impression, registration, and ink properties.
• Propose methods to improve machine performance to the section head.

Quality & Troubleshooting

• Troubleshoot any problem and report major issues to the section head.
• Make sure machines and premises are clean at all times.
• Ensure right support to next production team for smooth handover.

Compliance & Systems

• Implement IMS and close findings related to function.
• Report problems with regards to the IMS to head of department.
