Role Overview
Production Manager at Sealy Mattress Middle East (Middle East Mattress Factory Co.), Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a leadership position overseeing end-to-end mattress manufacturing operations for the exclusive Sealy licensee in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and MENA region.

The company operates a modern production plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, delivering premium bedding products using state-of-the-art automated machinery and industry-leading comfort technology.
Role Purpose
Lead and oversee the factory's full mattress manufacturing operations in Jeddah. Align manufacturing with business goals, improve plant efficiency, reduce raw material waste, and lead a diverse, multicultural team to deliver premium products on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Execution
- Direct and coordinate the factory's full mattress manufacturing workflows, including quilting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging.
- Develop daily, monthly, and annual production schedules to meet volume targets and ensure timely delivery.
ERP & Shop Floor Control
- Utilize the Odoo ERP MRP module to manage work orders and track production status.
- Verify complex Bills of Materials (BOM) for accuracy and completeness.
- Track actual raw material consumption against planned usage.
- Maintain precise shop floor inventory control.
Efficiency Optimization
- Monitor assembly line efficiency continuously to identify operational bottlenecks.
- Implement structural adjustments to maximize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Minimize scrap and material wastage across production.
Quality Assurance Alignment
- Oversee strict inspection protocols against premium comfort metrics and precise technical blueprints.
- Ensure quality verification before final products are dispatched to the warehouse.
Workforce Leadership & Safety
- Supervise, train, and motivate shift supervisors and line workers.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce strict workplace protocols.
Cross-Functional Synchronization
- Collaborate seamlessly with procurement, plant maintenance, and logistics departments.
- Utilize Odoo to coordinate across departments and mitigate material shortages.
- Schedule preventive machinery downtime in alignment with operational needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Industrial, Mechanical, or Production Engineering preferred.
- At least 8 years of direct experience in mattress manufacturing or premium bedding industries.
- Proven track record in a supervisory or management capacity.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong engineering mindset with hands-on problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in Odoo ERP software, specifically manufacturing and inventory modules.
- Familiarity with automated sewing, tape-edge lines, and pocket spring machinery highly preferred.
- Fluent professional communication in written and spoken English, strictly required.
- Command of Arabic or Hindi is a major advantage.
